Just another approach to coach shopping that worked well for me. The process of buying my current coach went like this;

I called Bob Phebus, and Preston Green with Marathon Coach Fl. explained to them what I was looking for and what I wanted to spend. After about 30 days he sent me pictures of a coach they had just taken in on trade. We liked what we saw, gave a small deposit, and the coach was drove down from Eugene Oregon to Florida. Week later we went to Marathon Coach Fl. looked at coach and bought it. The coach was just as they described, and just what we were looking for.

Now that being said, I know not all searches go this quick and easy. My point here is, by going thru a converter we were able to get to look at the coach before anybody else. The coach had not been advertised or listed for sale before I was able to say yes, no, or maybe.

Tim if you have not done so, I would let each converter you would be happy with know what you are looking for and ask for them to let you know if and when they recieve a coach they think may be of intrest to you. And trust me on this (they will). This will bring coaches to you before that perfect coach for you and your family gets away. At least this is what my buying experience was like. We love this coach and would still be kicking myself if this coach would have slipped by us. With Marathon you will have a warranty when buying from them, which to me is always a good thing.Just my 2 cents worth.

I am thinking about potentially trying to get to TN to visit Staley Coach. Does anybody have info experience with Staley, or any other places to check out in TN.

While we were searching for a bus we made a few trips to Nashville. We had several good experiences with bus folks in Nashville and Staley was one of them. They had a great coach that my wife loved and we let it pass us by since it was slightly out of our price range.

I’m in!!!! Karen has had my stuff for awhile now. Last year was my first time. It is now on my must do schedule. All I can say is first class people make for a first class good time. If you haven’t been you should.
