PARKING BRAKE WOULD NOT RELEASE
Well, got ready to leave the rally at Tenn a couple weeks ago, and the parking brake would not release! it felt spongy when I pushed it down. Turned off the coach recrancked and still the same thing, so I call Troy, he says look at the pins in the slides and see if they are in all the way they appeared to be. So he guides me to the bay below the drivers seat. I locate the Big yellow air line coming from the parking brake and it runs into a part that sets right beside the norgren valve. It has a plug with two wires running in to it, you have to remove a screw to unplug it. This he says is a sensor that tells if the slide pins are closed and allows the parking brake to release. I unplug it and the parking brake release. so he says to take to Prevost the first chance you get. I had to get back to V.A. so have not taken it anywhere yet. Maybe a bad sensor or slide pins not locking all the way. I use dry graphite spray on the pins and such, any one had this problem hope its not major? Gary
