Oyster Fest 2015 – A No Rally, Rally

Having done this type of thing at rallies it will work very well as Diane suggests. We all have to recognize that when we all get together the discussions will be most productive if they are limited to the Prevost chassis.
For conversion specific information the best way to handle that is the more experienced owners of a particular conversion should meet up with relatively new owners at a different time so everyone should be able to get a lot of information and answers.

I want to go just so I can personally thank some of the people who have helped me and continue to offer guidance and advice. But the truth is, I also wanted to go so I could continue “data mining” some of the gurus with the hundreds of questions I have about my coach and how to operate it. Now that I hear there may be some quasi-seminars or Q & A sessions with some gurus, I think I am going to have to register!

Let me assure you of a couple of things.
First, if you insist on “data mining” our policy is to double your dues. I’m sorry to have to tell you that but Tom is the one that insists on it.
Second, in the Q&A sessions every single question will be answered. And some of the answers may actually be correct.
Is that a deal or what???????

Ed & I are signed up also for the Oysterfest. Will be like “ole times”!!
We will be bringing our instruments (Upright bass & mandelin) & if anyone else plays an instrument, it would be nice to get together and play. (Even if you just pretend to play like us). Those oysters have all sort of minerals that help you enjoy things. HA!

Well called Bella Terra this morning to make reservations. I was asked the age of my coach and told of their 15 year limit. I had to send an email with some photos. Done. Guess I’ll just have to sit around and wait for a response.
Jon, I guess they just don’t appreciate a “classic.” Next year I qualify for “Antique Vehicle” plates! The bus silly, I’ve qualified as an antique years ago, just have not found a way to attach a plate!
Maybe I can park on the street outside the resort …

Sounds like when we get the rally started we need to take the Bella Terra folks around for a little walk to show them a Prevost is ageless.
My guess is rather than say they don’t want any home converted skoolies they would rather upset people with very nice RVs that don’t meet the standard of age.

Any interest for a hands on XL windshield seminar at the Oyster Fest? I need the drivers side changed out and would like to get some knowledgable instructions on what everyone says is an easy job. If so I’ll bring the windshield and provide (most) of the labor. Everyone else can kibitz. Any other parts (gasket?) or special tools needed?
