  • Owner’s manuals………

Posted by Archived on June 14, 2015 at 12:26 pm

Is there a place on the internet to download manuals for our coaches?

    Marathon H3?

Broke down in Sikeston, Mo…….at a fuel station.

No start…..had to be towed 3 miles to a ‘freightliner’ shop..(only thing within miles).

They replaced all 4 start batteries………..drove home to find a couple electrical problems.

1: My shore line would not run out electrically…..I finally pulled it out manually far enuff to attach a cord

and plug in to power…………….I can’t seem to find a fuse/ breaker for this thing.

2: My HWH leveling buttons don’t work or light……….turn the key on and the travel lite comes on and the bus

    does level…….

……another breaker search. Maybe the same?……dunno.

    Thanks for any help.

It probably isn’t this, but be sure your power switch in the Utility Bay is on. My 2000 Marathon has a separate power switch for the power reel on the bulkhead above the dump valves, etc. If it happened to get turned off, your power reel is dead….

    Thanks BTom…………..

Could these breakers have gone off due to the battery change?

The mechanics never went to the driver’s side of the coach. They worked outside and I was there

    the whole time…………helping out a lot…….!!……??

A 2 hour job only took 4 hours with my help…….(professional observer/ hints and suggestions, no charge)

I’ll be checking out your suggestions for sure.

    DT……….

I just located mine in the area where you show in the picture.

Mine is located in with the cluster of rocker switches above where you’re pointing.

    Surprise??………it’s marked “shore cord”…………go figure!

Dunno when I hit it to the off position…….?

One down, now to find the HWH box…….behind the tv, we think….

Thanks ……came to the right place, I reckon………..

Our coach came with two 3-ring binders of manuals for the components that Liberty put into the coach. But it didn’t have a Llibery manual nor any manuals from Prevost.

When we ran into Frank, Jr. from Liberty at the RV show in Tampa I asked him how to get a Liberty manual for the coach. With our Liberty coach number he had one sent to us.

Last week I ordered a new windshield from Prevost Parts in Elgin, IL along with three Prevost manuals. I don’t recall the exact prices but they weren’t cheap. When I get the invoice I’ll post the prices. Once Prevost has the last five (I think) characters of our VIN number they where able to zero in on exactly what I need.

For those who are comfortable with on-line access to Prevost manuals for their coach all can be accessed any time via the Prevost publications page. They will be specific to your coach and if you wish to go further the same page will get you access to wiring diagrams, pneumatic diagrams, parts suppliers documentation, recalls, service bulletins, etc.
