a electronically filed medical card must be on file to receive or renew a CDL.

If one cannot show proof of passed physical your license will revert to regular operator status.

CDL means COMMERCIAL DRIVERS LICENSE.

Are you a commercial driver. Coach Delivery or Entertainer Coach Driver?

If not you are not in the position to get a CDL.

You can be required to get the private operator license for your vehicle in your state. In most cases that means a B or Air Brake edjucated and or tested. Indevidual states may add something for weight.
CDL: You are working as a driver.

Private Operator: You have been ejucated and or tested in requirements to operate a big ass bus.
