  • Our KC Independence Rd. bridge

Just claimed another ….no damage to the bridge as usual. Note the carrier, we see this company a lot in the KC bridge news.

Note: bridge height sign “12” feet….. been the same for 50 years.

Steering wheel holders, can’t back up, can’t make tight turns without curbing tires or worse and no clue about height. Isn’t 13’6″ less than 12’0″, duh….

We’re at Crown Villa in Bend Oregon presently, just south of the entrance is a railroad bridge, it’s about 12′ clearance. I was walking the dogs the other day when I saw a guy checking out the top of his 5th wheel, he had came in under the bridge. I asked if he had any damage, nope, just barely cleared.

I’ve not seen this load shift / slide before.

One lucky driver as damage seems confined on passenger side.
