    OTR Evaporator Solenoid Failed (again)

    Upon arriving home from a long weekend trip and shutting the engine off, I noticed that the Prevost OTR evaporator fan would not turn off unless I shut off the 24vdc blade switch. So I opened up the condensor bay, opened up the gray plastic box in there where the the OTR evaporator and condensor fan solenoids and CBs live. I banged on the evaporator solenoid, and the fan shut off. I carry spares because this isn’t the 1st time. Solenoids are $20ea. I get 2 to 3 yrs out of them. Prevost OTR full bus air worked great otherwise.

    Are they 100 percent duty ?
