OTR air condensing Fan repair? replacement
Hi I have a OLD 1986 Provost with OTR air conditioning and I noticed my fan that draws air across the cooling coils is starting to make sounds that were not there before. I have opened the compartment and cleaned out the dust and that may be the cause of the fan sounds changing. after inspecting the motor I did not see any way to lubricate the bearings on the motor I assumed they were sealed bearings. the question for the day is has anyone replaced one of these or had them rewound/Rebuilt or is it better to try to get one from Prevost.
