Posted by Chuck on July 1, 2019 at 10:55 amHaving trouble finding a valve discharge assembly ( Prevost Part # 950281)

Where would you check for this part?

Chuck,
I think most of the OTR system parts are readily available at A/C supply houses. I do not believe we have any system components not available across the counter. Have whoever is working on your system see if there are equivalents to the part you need. (Expansion valve???)

Long, long time Prevost operator. They do their own maintenance. Mechanic been with them for over two decades. They might have one on the shelf. I think Tom is the head of maintenance. Very nice people.

Dick,
Lo and behold Tom did call me back and had the part. Such a nice fellow and wanted to know how in the world I got his number, Lol!
Once again this community is awesome!

WOW!!!!
When I said it was a shot in the dark … it really was. Glad that worked.
I put Nationwide Traveler on the PC map last year after they found a leak in our OTR system (copper line in the condenser bay had come loose from the wall, vibrated, and the sight glass got a little loose in its tee).
I think they are running seven or eight Prevost coaches, they’ve been running them since the 6V and 8V days, do all their own maintenance, take in maintenance from a number of other Prevost operators in NE and eastern Wisconsin. If you have any kind of a chassis or drive train problem near them, that’s where I would go.
I’m comfortable enough with their technician that if I had a Cruise-Air problem, and he was willing to tackle it, I’d hook him up with Fred at AAP and see if he could figure it out.
