    Operating Temps

    I have a power tech 20 kw genset, what kind of water temps should I be seeing normally?

    I’ve not had any gen run hotter than 170/180.

    What Tom said. All three of my coaches have had the normal generator operating temp around 175 to 180.

    I have the same unit. I’m seeing 192-195 when loaded 50% (85A with three cruise airs going and house batteries charging) with fan running on slow. Lightly loaded (10-15A) it is running at 160. Seems it needs at least a 50A load to get up to operating temp. Max output is 188A.
