Online Parts ordering?
How does one sign up for an online Prevost account to order parts? I filled out the credit application for a cash (credit card) acount. I sent it to the address specified (prevost.credit@volvo.com) but it was returned as undeliverable. No mailing address was provided and I no longer own a fax machine.

My first ever visit to a Prevost Service Center (Jacksonille) and the 2nd thing accomplished after a walk around inspection of my Coach,and they set me up with a $50000 credit account …. don’t know if that was because of the walk around inspection or not,but it is handy when ordering parts….hmmmm

We called the Prevost Office and they emailed us all the papers and we were good to go after a day or so… basically as fast as you email them back… they were very helpful.

It is a bit of an adventure. Here are the steps in case someone else runs into this.
First one needs a Prevost account number by calling the credit department. Then one needs to get added to the online parts system and receive a temp password. Phone/email address are at the online parts site.
Then you need to log in and figure the system out. The parts system is a set of SAP java apps that is not geared towards end users. You start with the “lookup” app. Not much works until one sets the serial number of the bus (last 5 digits of VIN for me) in one of the drop down menus. This allows one to search assembly/part drawings. You create a parts list and add your stuff.
Then you exit this app and enter the “ordering” Java app that allows you to pull up your parts list. By pressing the “quotation” Java button one finally succeeds to get prices for the parts on the list. There is no obvious “buy” button but by pushing some other Java buttons I ended up on a credit card entry page and things were straight forward from there. Looks like parts are being shipped from a warehouse in CA, but there is no shipping charge visible (yet).
Another SAP java app is the parts price list. However my account (cash) does not allow me to look at it.
It works but the SAP apps are from the stone age of the internet era.
