Oil leak?
I have had a greasy mess in this area under power steering pump, when I 1st bought bus the power steering reservoir hose at bottom I replaced with a new hose from a hydraulic shop and the fitting was strange so put a barb fitting in it’s place, no leak. 6 years latter it has been getting greasy under pump and it was dripping under that, clamp took about a full turn and a half, cleaned up the mess and I will keep an eye on it. Here is a picture see anything wrong? Did I use correct hose???

My power steering pump was leaking from the case halves, I just replaced mine along with my compressor. Pretty easy job on my bus.

Hey Mike Is there a gasket that it could leak from where it bolts to Detroit? Look at picture, How could you see where yours was leaking from??

Yes, there is a thin gasket. The new pump came with the gasket and a small tube of sealant to put on both sides at assy. I also replaced the fiber drive coupler.

What is the fiber drive coupler? At pump almost looks like a small O-Ring goes there and gasket, some one used a small amount of blue silicone look at picture

I am not sure what you are asking, my engine and power steering pump are completely different than your Series 60.

Did the oil leak repair new Detroit power steering gasket #23516100 and cleaned up all the mess it had been making, Looks much nicer
