Oil Change
In the Royale it has a 17.5 Powertech generator with a Marathon brush-less gen on it. It has been a tough last year and now in 25 we are back using the Bus again, Have not done any dry camping for a year and next month for my B-day we are going to Rincon for a few days, I test and exercise Gen-AC’s-Aqua Hot at least once a month, So I looked at gen it has been since 2023 since I changed Oil and filters an looked in my service book and it has 10.3 hours since then,Oil is clear and clean (Delo 400 15w40) should I change it??

Hey Art….that’s a tough question because some tech’s would say yes change it based on time. But if you don’t live in a cold climate where the temp in the winter goes below freezing….my opinion would be don’t worry right now…I mean its your preference in my opinion. But they do say change oil based on number of hours and length of time. I’m sure someone will chime in with more insight.

10 hours? I wouldn’t. The OIl will be fine. The Oil formulated today is a whole lot different than the single Grade juice use to be .
