Officer: May I see your license and registration?
As seen in Goshen, IN.
Not sure how this works in Indiana but it looks like Mennonite carriages must be registered as this one is displaying a license plate.
So what about insurance and driver licenses?
Do they require an annual smog inspection and where do you place the sticker?
Interesting country … !

Don’t make fun. I think they have it right.
Their tires don’t age out, they don’t ever need batteries, let the engine loose in a field and it refuels itself. No EGR, and that vehicle doesn’t need adaptive braking, lane change warnings, or even an ECM.

No problem Seajet. Significant differences between the two cultures, but many similarities.
We have many Amish enclaves in Wisconsin. The buggies are common in those area. The Walmart in my hometown of Shawano (30 miles NE of Green Bay) has hitching posts for the Amish to tie their horses up to when they “come to town” to shop.
When you’re out and about and see the sign below … there are definitely Amish in the area and you’re likely to see a buggy on the road. Please drive with care.
