North Shore in Minnesota
We are wanting to go to the north shore for a few days the first part of August. We would like to stay someplace between Two Harbors and Grand Portage. Just looking for some recommendations. Thanks in advance.

There is a campground on Hwy 61 at the north end of Two Harbors, Burlington Bay 218-834-2021. There is another one just south of Two Harbors between the scenic highway and expressway 61 called Penmarallter Campground 218-834-4603. Lakehead Boat Basin in Duluth 218-722-1757 is another choice if you want to be right on the harbor and see the ships and lift bridge.
There is not much north of Two Harbors that would be a good fit for a Prevost, mainly tent camping etc. as far as I know.

Make sure you discuss your a 45 footer at Penmaraliter.
At Lakehead Boat Basin—As Mark points out …boat, ship, lift bridge traffic is well worth the stay. I don’t know of any other place offering that kind of entertainment. Plan year ahead to get in.
