Normal battery float charge
I have a 96 40′ Vogue 95 chassis. About 2 years ago I installed 6 Lifeline 8d AGM 12v house batteries. I have two inverters; one a 2500 and one a 3000. The float charge when installed was about 13.6 and now it is about 13. I have equalized them one time about 3 months ago. Most of the time my coach sits plugged into shore power and I can’t understand why the float charge has decreased since only about 28 months.
I use to have 10 6V golf cart batteries connected in series and parell and when I use the coach dry camp style the golf cart batteries lasted a lot longer than the 12V AGM Lifelines before they needed recharged.
I would appreciate any advice or thoughts.

Do you have old or new inverter/chargers? What are they? Do they have temp sensors? Do you have the Lifeline Battery Technical Manual, document no. 6-0101 Rev. E ?

Make sure to checkout chapter 5. Page 19. It states that float voltage varies w/temperature. Their chart shows that at 50 degrees F 13.7 is proper float voltage. At 90 degrees F 13 is correct. So the voltages you mentioned might be correct?

Thanks Don for the advice, I will follow up on that. My original pair of Freedom 2500 have been replaced. I now have two inverters, a Magnum 2500 that is about one year old and a Xantrex 3000 that is about 4 years old.
