  • no post button, Bella Terra?

Posted by jack on March 28, 2015 at 9:25 pm

Hello all! Having a little trouble posting again, but maybe this will work. No post button, only new thread only…??

Anyway, wife and I are not yet owners, (will be this summer) and are trying to see all we can see & learn. Would it be approriate for us to show up at the Bella Terra Ralley? Do owners really invite you to see their coaches?

We don’t know anyone there, but would like to see/talk/visit with Prevost owners that can/will help us with our decision. Wife is a little crippled, but can get around slowly. What I’m hopin for is someone/s to kind of ‘adopt’ us for a few hours so we could look around and visit owners. Is this even accepted?

I just kinda picked up on this reading thru the forums, and for us the timing is right. I assume the idea is for us to get on a off site motel room & just walk/drive in?

I hope i’m not being to forward, just really interested.

    Thanks,

    JCT

    JCT,

The PC crowd loves to show off their coaches, talk coaches and help new owners spend their money. There is a wealth of expertise in this group and they will share it with you just as they have me and every new owner who is interested. Come to Bella Terra, learn a lot and have a great time with some great folks.

Like George said, show up, introduce yourself as a PC member to any Prevost owner there and you will have an opportunity to learn about Prevost ownership. No sales pitches, nobody pushing you to any particular brand or type, just a bunch of folks that happen to enjoy the experience of ownership and willing to talk about it.

One word of caution……….keep your hand on your wallet. This group does like to spend other people’s money and will not hesitate to encourage you to buy a Prevost.

JCT, you will be more than welcome and be doing your self a huge favor in your quest for a bus. There will also be show busses there. Parliament will be there for sure. Get a motel room nearby and have a fun and informative couple of days. Geo.

I will be at Bella Terra starting Monday the 13 April. Once I know what site I am in I will post the site number. You are welcome to come knock on our door and we will be glad to show you around. I would imagine Friday about noon would be a good time to show up. Most of the 41 coaches should be there by then. Of course all day Saturday would be a great time to show up and spend the whole day.

Tom and his coach purchases are tracked on a global basis. Amazing.

……………and it’s easier tracking global commodities. They don’t change as often. 🙂

Tom is simply fishing for someone to buy his current new bus so he can move on to yet another new bus. I can’t keep up with how many Tom has owned in the past seven years. Having said that, the prospective customer for his current new bus can rest assured that bus is in top notch condition. Just ask Tom when you meet him at Belle Terra.

I did not hear any news about Tom’s new bus or current bus while in Peru and Chile the past couple of weeks. They have buses down there, just no Prevosts. They did have Scania and Mercedes Benz coaches, all manual transmissions. Traffic was simply crazy too!

As we say down south, in the USA, “Ya’ll come on down and set awhile.”

We are not selling our “Classic” so feel free to drop by for a pressure free visit. We are in the process of updating our coach and recently had Jeff do substantial work toward that end. We are pleased with the results, unfortunately not many “before” pictures for comparison.
