  • No horn

Posted by Dean on December 28, 2013 at 5:32 pm

I’ve lost my horn. No electric or air. I think I’ve got a loose ground in the steering wheel. If I turn the wheel to just the right position, the horn honks. Any other position, nothing. 2003 Liberty conversion. Anybody know how to get into the wheel to check the wires? Liberty is closed till Monday.

    Thanks,

    Dean

Dean, There have been numerous steering wheel designs over the years so I would suggest you go to the Prevost publications page (a link is on our site under links) and look in the service manual for the method used to get at the horn contacts.

I had the same problem on one of my previous coaches and that steering wheel had a series of allen screws to remove after I popped the button.
