My Wife says We have Gone Crazy ! And if I am going there , Ima going in a Prevost ! Just bought a 1996 Liberty 40’Coach , Flying out in the morning to pick it up. Wish Me luck on the 13 Hr trip back Home ! I can already see that this site is going to be a very valueable resource for general knowledge, Maitenance issues and Breakdowns. Thanks to those who have posted all the priceless information.
(2) Harleys for sale ! CVO’s of course ! The color just does not match the Coach. LOL

Good luck on your new purchase. Visit often and ask a lot of questions. We will strive to answer every question and on certain rare occasions we have been know to actually provide a correct answer.

Welcome to prevost ownership… You have made a good choice buying a Prevost…I hope your coach is everything you hope it will be…these folks here know how to keep them up and running!
You WILL have many many questions… we all do always… you have come to the right place… experience is the best teacher… and this site is full of very experienced owners just waiting to help you spend your money!
Having said that be sure to check in often… always good info here…and again welcome !!!

Private not to Okie….That isn’t a Prevost. If it was it would be leaning. Nothing that age sits upright very long. Oops, just noticed…it is all the way down so it must be a Prevost.

I have a 07 SEUC that is called the jester. Red and Black Ice, First year of the 110″ engine. CVO Custom Vehicle Operations Bike. Made by a select 2 man team. 6 speed trans , Heated Grips, Heated seat, CB , GPS, XM, Weather , Security system, Locking Saddle bags, All Chrome, With 5,000 miles on it. 40K invested , Will take 25K
Also have a 05 SEVrod Red, One of 500 produced CVO that has around 11K miles I think , 28K invested, Will probably bring 14-15K
Also have a 1998 BMW R1200C that has 35K miles , They call the James Bond Bike. Made it’s Debut in the Movie, die another day ( I think ?) take $ 65000 for it.

The coach runs and handles awesome ! And I absoultly love the Jake Brake ! Wow , What an invention ! ( 2 Stage ) I was half way back before I discovered the front air bag baffles. Which made it ride and drive like a different Coach ! The Series 60 Engine 475 HP would eat up the Hills ! Cruise control works good , I stopped at a truck stop and weighed it , Come in at 41K. My Son was with Me and He helped drive. He has His Private Pilots license with an Instrumentation only endorsement. And it made Him nervous when We came to a lot of Construction. He turned it over to Me and just a few miles down the road we come into one lane with Concrete Barriers on each side that is only aboyt 10-12″ wider than the coach, ( It felt like anyway , LOL ) Was probably more like 14″ !!! But it was sure Hectic for several miles like that. 40-45MPH .
To My surprise , The Coach has 8 Near new Michelins and Had almost 3/4 of a tank of Fuel in it when I picked it up. Which I got down to 1/2 and topped it off. It took 115 Gals, $4750 , So what size tank does this Liberty have ?
When I picked it up in Ft Worth , It had an Engine caution light, Which turned out to be Low Coolant. They filled it up for Me and only charged a couple Hundred bucks for 2 Gals ! When We got into Nashville , The light came on again, And had to add 2 Gals ??? No Visible leaks , And no milky look to the Oil ? I hope that the Huge system just had to Burp ?
I am in Love with My Liberty ! I am having some electrical issues that I am going to get a good Liberty place to check out ASAP. And a couple of little water leaks, And , And , And , The list goes on !!! LOL , Never Ending I guess with one of these Magical Beasts ?
