New Topic Added – Diagnostic and Repair Nuggets
We’ve added a new topic called Diagnostic and Repair Nuggets. The purpose of the new topic is to have a convenient and quick place to go to see if someone else has had the same problem and what was the fix. As we gather this information from the forum, Jon and I will add to the thread. You won’t be able to post anything, that’s what the other topics are for and if you do, we’ll move it. It’s a read only thread..

Over our tens of thousands of posts we have amassed a lot of good information. From my perspective a couple of the gems have been to address why a coach will not come up to driving height (center solenoid valve coil most likely) to what relays to clip the #85 tab from to lock the fan clutch. We have hundreds of posts and threads that so valuable we wanted to have the Reader’s Digest condensed versions here so someone with a problem can scan the threads to see if there is information that will address a current problem or provide information.
Tom and I will be filling this topic and trying to make the titles very descriptive to make it easy to look for something.
We will be doubling the dues (again) to pay for the effort.

Geo, not everyone is in a financial position that will allow them to pay triple the current dues. Tom for example. All of his money is going into floor tiles which would have been paid for if certain folks bought batteries from him.

Battery sales are so bad I may have to just leave the floor painted concrete. If we could get some dues money, all my worries would be over….

And based on the dues income this year the paint on the floors may have to be watercolors.
Can we guys get some sympathy here?????

Stained concrete floors is all the rage! Can be very high-end…

I personally like the
polished and sealed concrete floors, especially in the bus barn. That way when you drop that tiny washer that
is esential to making the bus run, it will roll all the way across your 40 foot
wide barn to the most unaccesible place in the shop and under the 800 pound
anvel.
