As I said it is rare when we need to be on the roof, but if we have to reseal roof penetrations, or do a good cleaning on the roof, or service the satellite it is good to have ample room to at least sit up. Brady has plenty of room to work.

    Al,

i appreciate the reminder about door width. That would have been interesting about the door being too narrow.

    Regards,

    Al:

Do you have seperate electric and water service for each unit? How do you handle the utilitues for each, or are they included?

I have an opportunity to do the same here in Brevard County. There’s nothing I can find with 14 foot doors, much less utilities.

    Thanks!

Was out for a drive in the North Georgia mountains this afternoon and came across a nice RV storage facility for sale.

11 enclosed units and 8 covered units (covered has no electricity).

Asking price was nearly 700K. Would take a good many years to make your money back on that business model!

Even a good 1.5 hours out of Atlanta, all stalls were rented.

Land has opprotunity to build another three buildings, but then your looking at least another $300K for buildings making your overall investiment only 1 million. with that you are looking at a good 14-16 year to make your money back on the original investment and not including your operating expenses.

Thinking it would be smartet to develop your own land/business.

    Charles,

Our paths might have crossed today… Went to Jeff’s, then the dragon tail on the way back home. GA mountains were fantastic. Real wierd doing the dragon with 4 wheels instead of 2.

    Tom,

Try running the dragon with 3.5 inches of lift and 33 inch mud tires 😉 Thinking the thunderbird would be much more exciting.

We didnt make it north of Blue Ridge this afternoon, but on the way back home came through Chattahoochee National Forest, and around Rich Mountain and then into Jasper, where we ran across the RV Storage lot.

Trying to get a weekend back up to Marysville with the coach and the motorcycles and do some riding around Foothill, BlueRidge, Cherohala and probably 129… Just need to find time around everything else we have going on. Although we do have an appointment in Knoxville November 20th, so we could make a long weekend out of it.

What’s wrong with this picture? Car dealers taking shots at one another, and repeat customers (of both I might add) jumping into the fray.

All we need now to add credibility to the remarks on this thread is for a politician to jump into the discussion.

Ohhhhh, I think Jon just compared the two car dealers to politicians! Yikes, I’m out of here…

Don’t go putting words in my mouth. I wouldn’t insult any used car dealer by calling him a politician. My remark was intended to show how this thread could end up in the dumper if a politician did jump into the discussion, not that it isn’t headed there anyway when the two dealers are firing shots across the bow.
