New Silicone Hoses Installed on Webasto
Maybe too much preventative maintenance, yet wanted to replace our original webasto hoses with silicone. Because of limited space, had to remove the pump and 3/16″ aluminum plate on one side, and completely unmount the webasto and move it to the side. Glad to have it done. Next will be the rubber hoses that circulate coolant through the raritan water heater.

I guess that’s a good Liberty instructional but I suspect that most Prevost’s have more tubing than they have copper. To replace all the existing tubing in my Webasto would require 100 feet of silicone with zero copper tubing. Not saying that either of these setups are a bad thing, only noting the differences.

Hi Bill… Now replacing about 40 feet of coolant hose going to my water heater and back to engine. I swear I believe none are easy to change. Using Gates Green Stripe. The old was rubber date-stamped 2006 and it was likely still good, but since changing from coolant with SCA’s to Final Charge, decided to go ahead and change all the rubber I could do.
