    Al,

Since this thread was started with “New owners won’t stop messing with log in”

I did confirm with Joe that absolutely nothing has been changed as far as the log in. As I expected. Please email me directly and I will be happy to resolve any and all issues.

    Thanks

If you are saying you cannot reply, in a your reply, how am I suppose to understand???

I have been on the site almost every hour, all night, since this started. I have not had one issue. Obviously with as many posts as I have made.

As I stated, Joe has been going through this thread and resolving any and all issues (on a Sunday morning) to the best of his ability. If that is not good enough then I apologize.

This is not my business, but having shared the hot seat with Tom I know changes take time to get used to. I also know changes can create issues because of errors in implementing them. So far I can do anything I want to do, although where to click the button or if I have to adapt may be needed, but it works.

I also think criticism if constructive is valuable so if something is wrong, doesn’t work, or needs improvement we should all feel free to express ourselves, but do it politely and constructively. Please.

It wouldn’t hurt if Bill or Jessica gave some heads up before changes, but since I don’t pay dues what I think don’t count.

The “log out” box is in the top right of the main page. This way it can be accessed at all times from ANY page.

I guess “everything” will be different to every individual.

Al, just to have a clearer understanding of how the updates have taken place since our ownership (and I believe the prior) I will supply you with the following.

Jessica and I chose to keep both of the previous ownership’s web people. They are both in remote locations like they have always been. The main reason this was done was for consistency. Also, because most of you seemed somewhat content.

Through polite and constructive emails that have been sent, through survey responses and the simple need to modernize, a list of desired changes is created. It then randomly gets forwarded to one of two web guys. Depending on the nature of the request. To explain in simple terms, one guy creates the code, the other guy makes it look good. Again this is all done in real-time from multiple locations. At another business that I am involved in we have the resources to have an on-site team that has a second fully functional website running in the background. That site can be upgraded, tested and launched at any given time with very little disruption. Correct me if I am wrong, but I do not believe that this FREE site ever used that option.

Despite what was falsely stated earlier. Registration is up, unique visitors are up, page views are up, the amount of coaches being offered and that have sold are up. The Newsletter open rate far exceeds the industry standard (thanks loyal members). Our partners are offering all of you unique products and services are enjoying the success in that as well.

This entire thread was started by a completely false premise. Others that have had similar ISOLATED issues simply send an email. We generally respond within minutes and Jessica usually resolves the issue. If not she reaches out to others until the issue is resolved and the member is satisfied.

So is “everything” fixed? Probably not. However, myself and several others have done our best. With constructive input we will continue to push forward.

Now I think I am going to go rewire my entire bus. It somehow seems less stressful:)

PS this was sent from my iPhone 10x that doesn’t always do what it is supposed too. So I apologize, for any grammatical errors. You would assume with last weeks new financial milestone Apple would have enough money to figure this shit out:)

If you go to the very top of the home menu there is always a log out pick there on the far right.

Yes, I see this small log out word. My whole point is this site… was doing just fine as the new owners were adding new “stuff” often.

They never realized that just for the hell of it changes are made to of all things… log in and log out have major impact on over all ease of using the site are now affected. You would think better judgement would have been taken. Most of use have been on this site over 10 years. Spotting changes jump out.

If members new and old can’t log in and out…you have a problem.

How do I feel ? Warned them about changes made and items missing. What happens more changes are made and log in and out are not easy as they once were. Another example, print so lightly colored nearly unreadable. It goes from bad to worse.

I’am trying to help and you guys never listened.

    Good Luck,

    AL

FWIW, in 10 plus years I never logged out of the PC site. Why, because you are automatically disconnected and logged out if no activity is present in a certain amount of time for security reasons. So why give a shit about logging out? I don’t get it.

No Tom we changed that too. Once you log in you can never leave. We download your entire hard drive and sell it to the Chinese. It all works out though, because it is in lieu of monthly dues:)

The stupid buttons are something that neither Jessica or I EVER asked to change. Somehow it happened. That is in David’s area and he does not work Sundays. If all of the planets are aligned properly tomorrow I feel confident that this will no longer need to be a topic of conversation.

So that explains the P O I got for 100 LI batteries from 1hunglo. It was much easier to hide the dues money from Jon.

I am by no means really computer savvy, but i have to add that since the change over of the site ownership i have had no issues at all, i predominately use a desk top to access the site and occasionally a mobile phone , my login details load automatically and i just enter, always works great.

I am in Canada and this is the only Provost source of info i regularly log into every morning, i don’t post a lot but really appreciate this site and all the knowledge available here, at a bargain price !

Thank You, Ur doing a Fantastic Job

I have to admit that I wasn’t even aware that some of these features existed. Like Tom, I’ve never logged out. I never look at anything other than the forums, so I’m the worst kind of freeloader. I can handle some inconvenience now and then. Bill, thanks to you and Jessica for recognizing the value of PC, and working to ensure its continued existence.
