Sorry to hear about the damage to your Bus. When we went about 3 years ago now we didn’t experience much if any damage. I replaced the windshields but they both had existing cracks. No other damage. Lots of dust and dirt…we didnt’ do the tour and I would agree with dry camping and using pullouts.

Where about would you say was the worst part of the trip. I realize it’s always changing but for us it was Distruction Bay to Tok… where there basically wasn’t a finished road. they were working on it and required a pilot car for large parts of it. we took it really slow and then took the ferry from Haines to Bellingham Wa which is another story all to it self.
