I have 4 roof air units and the front one seems to work normal just has a hard time cooling the entire front of the coach and runs for a very long time but will eventually cool it down and shut off. The second unit for the gally also seems to work fine. The third unit for the lav runs once then shuts down and never runs again. the fourth unit for the beadroom has a very weird cycle. It runs for 2 minutes then is off for 6 minutes and this cycle repeats all night long. I also sounds to me like there is a bearing going bad as there is more noise and vibration than the other three and when it shuts off I can hear it spin down and it sounds like a bearing noise. It does however cool better than the other three. one question is regarding the third unit in the lav. I would guess that somewhere there is a thermister that is thinking that the temp is good keeping it from trying to turn back on again but I don’t see a thermister any where. I do see what appears to be a thermister in the beadroom and one other room but not in the lav. How would I locate the thermister for the lav. Second question any idea why the bedroom unit has that very specific cycle? I tried changing the unit to fan on high,med,low instead of auto and while I did not notice much difference between high,med,low it did run and cycle the compressor as needed. The auto mode is the one I prefer so that it will shut off when cooled down but unlike the other three does not seem to turn and off based on temp but on the 2minute 6minute cycle. Any idea what to look for on the bedroom unit cycle issue?
