After studying Prevost Community for the last year and attending the last Seminar it is time to begin our search for the right Coach. We are currently in the process of building a Busdominiun and our current house is under contract possibly forcing us to full time while finishing our project. At the last Seminar I was encouraged to look for a late 90’s Liberty non slide as a good starter coach. We will begin our search at Pantera in Holland, Mi this weekend.

if any one has any knowledge of the Liberty they have I would appreciate any feedback. Thanks for the great information provided on this forum and the information provided at the last Seminar.Bob. And Gerri

There is a 95 Liberty in our neighborhood that might be for sale. (Crossville TN)

1995 was a transitional year and this bus has all the “right stuff” – the good side of the transition.

Let me know if you would like the contact information.

I owned a 97 45′ Liberty with a solid front axle. Bullet proof might be stretching the truth a little, but that riveted chassis with the simple front axle, the Series 60 and the world transmission (six speed) was a joy to own. It was reliable, serviceable, had no shortcomings, and was the most economical coach to own. Saying a Prevost can be economical to own seems like something a politician would say, but those of us that have or have had that vintage Prevost likely never have issues if the coach is provided with good routine maintenance.

Everyone I know that has a similar vintage coach has pretty much the same experience I had.

Don’t forget the pit in the busdominium. It is worth its weight in gold.
