Need a door-thingy
Noticed today that I am missing this thing that rolls up behind the bracket mounted on the frame to keep the door closed tightly. Where can I get one? What’s involved in installation?

Prevost- just the roller catch looks like a 480387,and the assembly looks like a 480510 plate assy. Prevost can verify part numbers…

I’m not sure, Jon. That door has always been a bit difficult to close, but I go in there so infrequently that I didn’t notice. We had a problem this trip where the door in front of it didn’t quite close when Ian put away the water hose and I ended up removing everything from that bay from the other side, crawling in on my belly and removing the catch on the frame to release the door. Then I discovered that the catch had been bent into a bit of a ‘C’. When I bent it back it now works as intended.
Thanks, Jeff. If I order those parts, will I be able to put them on with basic tools or is it a chore?

Part of the whole assembly comes with screw and nuts holding the roller, so should be simple install….

I just took a closer look at this while talking with Charlie at Prevost parts. It looks like the roller is held on with a little C washer. If I have to remove the whole rod I may have a problem because the far end goes into some sort of a metal box that seems to be part of the door. Thoughts?
