Mystery Seat
Here is a new puzzler for you and I hope it has an easy answer.
My wife usually parks the bus while I guide her in. It works great for us. While I am hooking up utilities, she levels up, and gets the inside ready. As she was getting ready to shut down the engine she told me out the window that the driver’s seat was doing something weird. I went inside about 5 minutes after she shut down and the seat was acting like it was haunted.
With the engine off and the aux compressor definitely off the chair would raise up a couple of inches and then lower immediately. As it was lowering I could hear a little air releasing. Then it would do it all over again. 30 minutes after shutdown it was still doing it. I had to go outside after that so I do not know how long this went on but it eventually stopped.
With no air being generated what in the world was going on?
I am in an area with extremely poor phone and internet signal so if I am slow in responding you will know why.

Some seats respond to the amount of weight sitting on them and then air pressure as needed is applied to the seat to maintain it at the correct height.
Something within the seat mechanism isn’t right (obviously) but I have never heard of this occurring. Even with the bus and aux compressor off, the aux air tank still has pressure.

Yea, It sounds to me like you have a poltergiest, in your coach, remedy two dried frogs heads, the tail from the African bushmaster, put under the seat , borrow Jons Lennon Sister cassete, find a player, “good luck here” and play for one day problem should go away! Gary
