  • My new Knoedler Air Chief captain’s chair

Before, during and after pictures. The seat is wonderful! Heated and cooled, all of the adjustments, big enough for a big guy but still more room than the ISRI had along the sides.

I only did my seat, Jon. Natalie doesn’t have any problems with hers, but mine only came up to about halfway on my back. That always left me with a backache.

That air really works, too! My car kinda works after a while, but the bus seat gets cold NOW! Coupled with the bus air its great for Florida weather.

This is the seat they are putting in the newer buses. Just another small upgrade that brings me closer to the modern era.

How much was that baby? How did you get cold air to it?

It was about $4,000 plus install, and I paid more for the matching fabric to be shipped to them after it was perforated for the air.

I don’t know how much of it is really air conditioning versus a good wind blowing the already cold OTR conditioned air around my heiney. Whatever, it is crazy good.

It was $3838 total, of which $250 was shipping. I paid extra for custom fabric, and two guys at Liberty took about six hours to install it. Please use this link to save yourself $50 and give me a referral fee to use towards my PC dues.

Here it is as a URL in case you need it that way for something: http://go.referralcandy.com/share/9H4XKS7

That looks really nice, I looked at the Bose seat, they say it is for class 8 trucks only but can not see why it could not go in a coach, has anyone else looked at them? Not cheap but supposed to be pretty good!

I was kinda admiring the bucket. Turn that baby around and you’d never have to stop for potty breaks!

has anyone replaced the Isri with the Knoedler themselves, I have the Knoedler but I don’t want to remove the Isri till know how it will mount, like any adapters needed?

They actually welded the original plate to the Knoedler’s, effectively making it their adapter.
