My 2 cents…TRADEWIND COACH and MARINE
Most of you dont know me, but I am the SHOP MECHANIC’s nightmare. I wont use a shop who doesnt accept me asking questions, challenging some diagnoses and my general NY pain in the ass character……NOW I would like to let you know that I have had my 96/97 XL40 serviced at “TRADEWINDS COACH and MARINE” in Deland, FL. They are a fine shop for us MATURE XL’s.The mechanic who was a MAGICIAN….ED. Ed ( knows the senior chassis well ) found and changed numerous check, leveling valves, relays, etc. A couple of parts didnt arrive, but all in all, WOW…very pleased. I had 4 brake cans replaced and would have had the tags done but,…wrong parts. New rear roof A/C unit, new FET board into a Magnum, and a handful of little busy work stuff.Scott, Kyle and Brian treated me like family, allowing me to spend the 10 days of work plugged in to available 100amp pedestal, looking out on a fish filled pond after they completed work each day…..and like family, we sometimes see things a little differently, and like family we talked and thought and came up with solutions to all the ruff spots! As I head west I feel confident in knowing that I was in great hands, treated very fairly and would like you all to put TRADEWINDS in your shop list for FLORIDA, Daytona, Orlando area…. 386-848-4466. Thank you guys.Jonathan Fine97XL40 Royale #201“Fool’s Paradise”
