Are the swinging mud flaps behind the front tires (narrower) and the tags (wider) – the ones with the bolted on stainless steel bottom cross decorative panels a Liberty item or Prevost?

Mine have cracks all the way through the rubber over 1/2 of the width of the flap at the top attachments, want to replace them before they fall off and I loose the metal bottoms with the fallen off part.

Or do I just go to the truck parts supplier and get some big flaps and cut them to size – will probably be considerably cheaper. They do appear thinner than the typical big truck mud flap, these are less than 1/4″ thick and do not appear to have fiber/thread/cord in them. They typical truck flaps are 5/16-3/8 and often have embedded cords.

I replaced all of mine on my 1992, even the rubber in front of the drives that covers the valves. I bought everything from Prevost except the ones behind the drives. These I purchased from a truck shop. The ones behind the drives that i bought from a truck shop, had no holes, i drilled them to match my steel brackets. All hardware was replaced with Stainless steel.

I visited a local shop that does water-cutting for the Ag industry. Sourced a piece of rubber, designed a logo with our bus nickname and had everything cut and assembled. Used my old mud flap as a pattern for the holes. Worked out perfectly.

NAPA has a very large selection of mud flaps. Buy un-logo and cut to size with heavy duty cutter.

They are not expensive through NAPA

In Medford, OR is a company that specializes in making mud flaps. Don’t remember the name but a search will find it. They do first rate work and will even install if you are there. Had them make and install new front front flaps while we waited. Highly recommended.
