Missed you last fall. The new paint job is incredible. Takes a lot of time to get the colors just right. You did an awesome job on that. I have one color that will need to be done again as it just isn’t quite the right one. Mine was painted by the boys at Chrome Shop Mafia in Joplin, MO. They are the ones that have done the paint jobs on Pimp My Truck on CMT network. They did a great job but like yours, it took me a week to clean all the dust from the inside.
I had a friend who used 4 ft wide by 30 ft long rolls of 1/4″ fiberglass that he sikaflexed to the side of his eagle. Looked great in the end by because of the wt involved, he had to have 10 people help him roll it out and bond it to the side, I didn’t have that many friends and didn’t want to pay that many people so, I just used 4 ft by 9 ft 30 ga 3036 aluminum that I got locally and had wall formed locally. I riveted it to the frame after taking all the windows, frame and all out. I put nearly 5K rivets in the coach. I probaly have more weight in rivets that some of the stick builts weigh total.

Rob, I intended to stop to visit you and Bob, but the snow was falling, it was cold and I was seriously focused on getting south as fast as I could. Look for a call the next time I pass through your area. I’m anxious to see your coach. Any chance you might post a photo? Precision has an outstanding graphics department. Sue suggests the colors and you pick the ones you like best. You’re right, the fiberglass is heavy. Riveted aluminum is doing it right!

Hello, I have been trying to reach Ron for a few weeks. I did a search for obituaries with his name. Ron died in an experimental airplane crash August of 2018. He was the passenger, the pilot was also killed in the crash. He was kind to me and helpful with conversion tips. He and his wife parked his bus at our home and we had a nice visit. I have not been able to send condolences to his wife. I met Ron at an early Bus-N-USA rally in Rickreall, Oregon. He will be missed.

We have lost a great guy. Ron was a smart capable guy and full of life. I am sorry to learn of his passing.
