  • Module Question

Posted by Alex on December 3, 2023 at 5:53 pm

Anyone know what this module in the rear street side electrical bay is on a 2001 Marathon H3-45. It is flashing once every 10 seconds so I am trying to understand what channel 1 is (as indicated)

    Thanks

    Alex:

I think its the control box for the fire sensors in the eng compartment. The wires have the numbers tattooed on them indicating its a Prevost item. Try looking it up on the wiring diagram for your coach from the Prevost Car web site.

I was thinking that is could be for the fire detection system. On my recent trip, the alarm went off. No fire, so one of the sensors must have a problem and I noticed the blinking light after we got home. I will check out the wiring diagrams.

    Thanks

    Thanks Ed,

it is the fire detection system and the sensor that seems to be acting up is in the battery compartment (per the wiring). Now I just need to track down the sensor part number and get it on order from Prevo.
