MobilEye – First Impressions
ETLC completed our installation of MobilEye collision avoidance system yesterday. I drove home and had conditions varying from two lane roads to Interstates. It was not a long trip – that will start this weekend.

We had Vorad in our previous coach which is a forerunner of the current Volvo collision avoidance system. It was not a feature that I was initially interested in but quickly became loved.
MobilEye does not have the same full automated features of smart cruise control or Jake brake initiation. It does offer really good warnings as you can see in the video.
So far, it seem really good and very accurate. I’ll have more information after our upcoming two week trip.
