microwave replacement
HELP. in an older posting. i read of a micro convection a replacement unit for our 1999 marathon. anyone know of one. we would like to update ours. thanks

We replaced ours with a new convection unit several years ago. Get the make & model number off of your current micro & look on eBay. If you’re looking for a direct replacement, you should see something there. If you want another make/model, note the exterior dimensions of your current unit, which should be noted in the description on eBay. Then use that info to narrow your search. Mounting can be a challenge, so if you’re wanting to change make/model, pay attention to the mounting system for the one you have vs the one you want to install.

We replaced the micro/conv oven in our ’08 Marathon XLII with the GE Advantium.almost a direct replacement with the exception of rerouting the power wire hole (not a big deal). Loved that oven with the exception of the LED clock not staying lit by design.

Likely it’s easier to just replace with the same brand. A different brand might not install without modification. Also, the hinge at the door might not fit right in the cabinetry.
