The issue will be loss of power if you have the DC operated model, but I’m guessing your coach has the air model. If so it may be the air/water actuator valve or an air supply issue. Microphor has some tips in their manual on what can be done on each of those issues. If you don’t have the manual you can google Microphor LF 210 or Mullaney and associates.

Mine is the simpler DC model, but Truk and others have had the air model and I’m sure a much better understanding than I have.

Did you ever change the mixing valve I sent you 3 years ago?

Air opens the flap I believe, do you have any aux Marathon leaks on the house side? Can you get the cover of the toilet off to inspect?

If you have just the electric one like I use to have, do you hear the motor run when you actuate the flush handle, if you do and the flapper does not move it is probably the plastic shaft the flapper is made on is striped or one of the plastic gears in the motor housing is stripped.

Either one of these conditions require toilet to be removed.

Either electric or air, the toilet has to come out to repair. You didn’t tell us whether air or electric, that would help. Based on Bernie’s comment it may be air, are you getting the air whoosh when you move the flush lever? Take the top off and see if you can identify what’s going on.

I do have a very small leak on bathroom sliding door only when operated, not enough to impact the air on the toilet mechanism.

Tom, i believe is air, I hear the hissing/ whooshing Sound and the Toilets lever is activated. I took the top cover Off, replaced the only fuse i can see there, it was good, but replaced Anyway, also tried to remove/replace each electrical connector I could, no luck.

Completely shut down and restarted the coach, no luck.
I will attempt again this morning…

I’m still not clear, if you have wires and a fuse it would be the electric toilet. The air toilet will have air lines and an actuator.

Tom, my bad…too much going on…it is LF 220 electrical unit.

Do you have any archive pictures that you can share please?

Talked to Microphor this morning, they suggested the cam assembly could be broken, out of adjustment or spinning on the shaft if the setscrew is loose.

I could not feel anything loose there, will verify with out water this afternoon if the motor is running when lever is depressed and if i can feel the shaft turning.

I believe cam is solid on the shaft, if I push the flapper down with a stick, with considerable force, the flapper is opening and I could feel the clevis assy moving a little.

This is probably your problem area. The toilet has to come out to repair. I’ve done 2 electric Microphor’s, took them out of the bus and rebuilt in the garage. Heavy toilets and you have to get the adjuster just right or the flapper will leak.

My 04 Marathon was a Microphor air, took it out at Jeff’s and replaced with Tecma, the only way to go.

Tom is right, I had one for 11 years in my CC and probably spent what I could have bought a Tecma for.

The other advantage to the Tecma is it is a macerating toilet which on a rare occasion you can’t get close enough to a dump station for your 3 inch hose you can empty the black tank with a garden hose.

OK…tried to run it without water last night.

The motor does not run. Cam is solid on the motor shaft same with the clevis assembly. Solenoid valve clicks when lever activated and water is discharged when water is on.

Noticed some water on top of the vacuum breaker after water was run second time, none after several flushes.

Verified power, all good. Did not had the time to remove and properly clean all contacts, but cleaned the ones to the motor.

What model Tecma is a direct replacement for Microphor LF 220 is anyone knows?

It’s the silence plus. There’s a plywood sub floor you can screw into if there are no bolts and then silicone.

If you can get material to match your decor it’s nice to build it up to comfort height.
