  • Message center display and gauges not working

Posted by Thomas on June 29, 2012 at 8:34 pm

Hello, my message center display, fuel, turbo, temp gauges are not operating. I have tested every fuse, circuit breaker I could find, I tried the test button and nothing. Everything else in the coach appears to be alright except the dash gauges and message center. Very frustrating as I am sure I am forgetting to test something.

One thing you can do is go to the Prevost web site and access the electrical diagrams for your coach.

    http://prevostparts.volvo.com/technicalpublications/en/manuel.asp

Start there by putting in the specific information relative to your coach and you can pull up the appropriate diagrams. It takes a little practice to navigate the site, but the data you need is there. What makes your quest easier is that you are looking for something common to all the gauges and display so when you get to the diagrams it should be an easy solution.

My initial reaction is a ground connection, but I am shooting from the lip on that.

Thank you, I have been done that road with no success. I have recently also found out the backup alarm isn’t working either. I am going on the assumption that these are all on the same feed. Guess I’ll be calling Prevost on Monday.

Not sure what fixed the display/gauges but I ended up manually tripping every breaker int he driver service area and the engine area left them off for a couple hours turned them all back on, started the bus and everything was working.

Great, sounds like you did a re-boot…
