    Marathon “shore off ” switch/alarm

    anybodyhave any knowledge on how to cancel the damn thing, driving me crazy. Shuts off when plugged in but won’t shut off when disconnected. Is there a separate fuse some where? The switch has a multi ribbon attachment so not sure what all is tied together. Leon thought might be relay, find it and cut wire. Any other thoughts?

    I’ll keep you company in your misery, Gary. This happens to me sporadically but so far, it does eventually respond to the multiple button pushes. Do you have an electric cord reel? The first time it happened to me, I found that the electric cord contact had not properly seated on the sensor due to a big fat tree frog hiding in the little compartment. If you find your answer, let me know. Kirby

    No frogs, but have had the cord in and out multiple times since.But will be a good place to start.
