I’m hoping yours is the same. In your electric cabinet in the bathroom or on a bedroom panel by the bed you should have 2 buttons for 110v heat for the toe kick heaters and a 12v for the water.

Push the 12v and it should work.

Bernie what about wabasto heat or bus heat? He should br able to get some heat without turning on the water heater and electric kick heaters.

There must be a return valve on the line that you have closed. Have you look under seats for water hose? If so are they getting hot. Do you know all the points that heat should come from and if so are the fans behind them working?

Were 10 years apart on build but on mine the 12v heat switch operates the Webasto and unless you activate that switch it will not allow hot water into the bus that is engine heated.

One button or the other have to be turned on for the heat source you want to use.

This has nothing to do with the driver heat up front on the dash.

Someone with a closer year build might have a better answer.

On that vintage coach, the coolant loop from the engine to the driver area is controlled by the temperature adjustment on the dash. You either have a valve somewhere in the rear that is shut off or the termperature rheostat is not working preventing coolant flow through the heater core.

I had a 97 and don’t remember the exact location of the valves, but you may have one hidden in the small bay, driver side just ahead of the radiator.

I am not familiar with how Marathon set up your coach, but I suspect if the valves are open you only need two more things to get heat. You need to be assured the hot coolant is circulating through the house, and if the heat is not directly from engine coolant, but is from an Aquahot you need to verify the coolant is circulating through its heat exchanger. Usually to get the circulation you need a pump in the system to move coolant from the engine to the heat exchanger or Aquahot. Do you have one and is it working?

The second thing you need will be the fans to move air across the heat exchangers. The fans will be audible when you call for heat. Do you hear them? If they are blowing air then the problem is with coolant circulation. If they are not blowing the issue is getting them to work.

i do have a boost pump up front and yes it does work, but not getting any heat up front for driver and defrost. Looks like the Wesbasco and the engine Heat are somehow integrated because in the manual it says that Wabasco will not fire if the coolant temp is above a certain temp. Don’t know if the driver heat and defrost are independent or not. Guess I can hit the 12volt switch and try again. Or might take to someone that can fix it or show me what I am doing wrong.
