Turns out our Marathon has a fairly “advanced” electrical system when compared to the boat we had before. All Marathon switches seem to be industrial low voltage solid state (FET) switches and some relays and transfer switches. The right side wall of the rear closet is covered with these switches and associated wiring. The documentation I have just shows general location of connection boxes and central switch areas but not really a circuit diagram.

Specifically, I’d like to understand how the electric outlets throughout the coach are switched/protected. There are two sets of AC breakers but to my surprise they don’t seem to turn off the entertainment system outlets which leaves the satellite dish on all the time.

Does anyone have a ’98 or so circuit diagram for the Marathon house system?

Somewhat related: While both the Prevost and Marathon electric systems are good quality and installed with obvious care that cannot be said about the A/V system installers. The dealer upgraded the AV system before we bought the coach. I checked out the install via the access port in the rear closet. All I can say is that the AV installers have no pride or care. All you can see is a big ball of old and new wires/cables/power supplies. Surprised it works at all. Shouldn’t be too hard to clean up and will give me a better understanding of what we have and how it works.
