  • Marathon Customer Service Impresses once Again

Posted by Bill on October 30, 2018 at 11:10 pm

I was supposed to be in West Virginia with the Bus four wheeling with my son… He got seriously injured on his horse a few weeks back. Had liver and kidney damage and couldn’t ride… he is on the mend… we were scheduled to leave for Springfield IL tomorrow to visit the Lincoln sites and during my pre-trip this morning discovered a serious air leak sound coming from the ceiling by the drop down TV.

Called and talked with Dave from Marathon Tech support and he helped me isolate a failed regulator. He connected me to Faye in parts who got me the part I needed. I am not very handy and short on time…so they said if I would send them pics of what I had they would rebuild it so all I had to do was connect the in and out..

Got an email that they got all the needed fittings and pressure gauge added and I will have it first thing in the morning.

Pretty impressive considering this is a 2007 coach and I am the second owner.

Saved my weekend with my Son. Live is good!

Kudo’s too, to Marathon support. Yesterday a day after we arrive in Indio, our coach had an issue. Unbeknownst to use, yesterday morning during a “blip” the coach changed from shore power to batteries. Several hours later, autogen engaged. That had our attention?????

traced issue down to fried wire in power transfer switch. Called Tech support Jeff, sent photos, identified wire, told us what to replace and how. Bingo, coach shore power back in business. Culprit, possible loose connection, or imperfection in plastic coating on wire with age heat and time caused burn out. Everything else clean, smooth and tight. Thanks to Marathon. There were prepared to send new switch, tho.
