Major blunder
Seems like I’m one of the only one that post much here so for your entertainment: When figuring my final gear ratio: speed vs tire rpm vs engine rpm I had a brain lapse. Being my coach is a 98 XLE with antilock brakes I am searching for a solution that seems to be complicated by the fact the the antilock sensor is internal to the rear end. 4:30 is highest gear available. My 10sp autoshift overdrive is.75 tire rev per mile is 491. So search has began. Have posted elsewhere on this board and others and good fellow bus guys are trying to save my brain lapse.Leads are comming in and options explored. The journey is fun but sure is full of……..bumps and brain lapses. Tomorrow is our 44 wedding annversity and my wife(Judy )birth day. Plus Tues is a new bus day. Bob

If you have the ABS sensors mounted internally on the differential I don’t see how changing gear ratio in the differential affects them.
The sensors are measuring the rotational speed of the axles and comparing both to one another as well as to the steer axle rotational speeds or RPM. Your rear drive wheels are going to be rotating the same speed as the steers regardless of the driveshaft speed.
Am I interpreting what you are saying correctly?

The problem seems to be the case will not accept the higher than 4:30 gear set. Working on it. Need mid 3:50 Taking tomorrow off— I know how to say Yes Dear!. Bob

Rearend out headed to shop; 2:92 gear set to be installed. All is good when you are willing to take your time and ask questions. . Had to change Halves also to accomodate ring and pinion. Thanks to all that helped Bob
