Wow, Victron is definitely taking market share away from all of them.

Yes but I’m keeping my 2812 that are 5 or 6 years old, I replaced the old Heart Xantrex black inverters that were 20 years old

I talked to my Magnum dealer. Yes,they are getting out of the inverter/charger business. Chip shortages, pandemic, and labor issues in Minnesota where they manufacture them.

He has a lot of parts to service the Magnums, but someday he’ll run out and have to switch his customers to another brand(s).

He thinks Victron are as good for less $.

I love my Magnums that I installed 7+ yrs ago and my Lifepo4 house batts that I installed 3 yrs ago. No issues or regrets with either.

I have a humming in one of my Magnum inverter chargers. When I put the charger portion in standby the humming stops. Considering they are headed out the door, should I get it serviced or is it just a normal thing?

You can take it to Inverter service and they can clean it out and check it out, If you change inverters you will have to do both. I use to deal with a Xantrex dealer in Huntington Beach Ca and they worked on all of them Father and son, Have you ever blown out the dust out of unit?
