I noticed Magnum will be there for a presentation. I was told at Marathon GP that Magnum inverters does not support CruiseAirs–we ended up with a rebuilt Trace. According to Marathon, with the Magnum inverters, you won’t be able to run CruiseAirs without the generator or shore power.

Why? Please explain why a Magnum of sufficient capacity will not run a Cruiseair? Does that mean it won’t run a roof air or a refrigerator or an aux compressor or a water pump? All have motors.
A lot of folks have swapped out modified sine wave inverters for pure sine wave inverters such as the Magnum because motor driven devices work better with them.

That makes no sense unless the Magnum chosen doesn’t have the capacity of the Trace 4000.

Magnum although a 4000 watt unit does not have the capacity for the surge that the trace units have….you have limited options if the the trace units are not repairable…There are a couple manufactures that can run the air conditioning units without stacking units. Might want to move this post to a new topic
