Took it to Prevost Jax. It was a hose leaking at the condenser. They replaced hose and dryer, pressurized with Nitrogen, verified no more leaks, charged up, and now working like new. The hose had been slowly leaking for a while.
John, service mangager there along with Cindy were great as usual.

When an AC system has a leak, even if it is a small one there is almost always an accumulation of oil and dirt at the leak location.
We don’t need to know anything about air conditioning to include a visual check of the system in our pre-trip inspection. As long as all the hoses and fittings are clean and dry it is unlikely there are issues relating to loss of refrigerant. When there is a leak often a little tightening of a fitting will cure the problem.
On OTR systems the most common problem I have seen on my coaches has been at the compressor seal which shows up as a greasy or dirty stain behind the clutch.
