Loss of K-9
Today was a sad day, The loss of one of my best friends Conner, Almost 12 years Black English Lab. The older I get the more it hurts to loose one of our furry friends. And his best friend Ollie Boston Terrier is going to really going to miss him. Safe Travels Conner.

The one absolutely unselfish friend that we can have in this world, the one that never deserts us, and the one who never proves ungrateful or treacherous, is our dog.Our dog stands by us in prosperity and in poverty, in health and in sickness. They will sleep on the cold ground, where the wintry wind blows and the snow drives fiercely, if only to be near our side. They will kiss the hand that has no food to offer. They will lick the wounds and sores that were caused by the roughness of the world. They guard the sleep of us, as if we’re a prince, even if we’re a pauper. When all other friends desert us, they remain. When riches takes wing and reputation falls to pieces, our dog is as constant in their love as the sun in its journey in the heavens. If fortune drives us forth as an outcast in the world, friendless and homeless, our faithful dog asks no higher privilege than that of accompanying us, to guard against danger, and to fight against enemies. -

Just saw this, Art. Please accept my most sincere and deepest condolences. We grow so very close to them, they live with us daily and are unconditional in their love and affection.
I never knew the pain of such a loss until we lost our very first dog this past summer while vacationing in Pagosa Springs. I still await the day where the pain turns to joyous memories.

We also send you our very best wishes and we are feeling your pain. I know that doesn’t help but please know that we are sending virtual hugs!
We are having issues with a 15 YO cat and had to take him to the vet today. Quality of life issues popped up and we are fearful that a decision of that kind may have to be make.
Just remember that these loyal friends will be waiting on the other side having missed you just as much as you missed them!
