Getting ready for a short trip to the Gold Country (Angles Camp) Murphy’s calif. I put stands under frame crawled under rear greased U joints checked Diff fluid looked around greased the the arms on both sides that lift tag axle. And I spotted a loose bolt on drivers side of B500 trans that held 2 trans cooler lines on a bracket bolted to side of trans, Bolt and washers were backed way back. Instead of just screwing it in I un screwed bolt looked at threads on bolt and on trans, I stuck a screw driver in hole and measured depth, I did not want to bottom bolt out, And I did not know if it went into case in to oil, But when it came out it was dry and clean,so I screwed it back in with lock washer and a flat washer. I did not know if bolt was to long or not. A little anti-seize and tightened it back up, It held rubber shield & bracket. Threads looked good that is anti-seize at top of threads. I wanted to see the bottom of hole, That cast must be made of a tough metal.
