I will not offer details other than saying this is way too much travel in such a short time!

Besides, if you want the discounted price for Jeff’s oil change, you need to stay for 2 weeks so that he can

do it at his leisure.

I know it is aggresive, trying to get the main “attractions” New Orleans, Dallas, Memphis, Nashville and of course Jeff in Vonore. This is the last year with both kids at home, going off to college in the fall.

Dallas in June can be hotter than a pepper sprout. I would probably opt out of Texas if all you are doing is Dallas. There is so much MORE in Texas than Dallas..

Well, in June, we usually get out of Dodge as it’s getting too hot. But the Texas Hillcountry (Austin and west) is beautiful. Sunset Point RV park in Marble Falls, TX is great.

Kerrville – Buckhorn Lake RV is wonderful and Kerrville is a neat area.

Tell me what you are looking for and we can give some better suggestions..

The coach is a recreation vehicle. The reason it is called that is because unlike when we are working it is supposed to be a place to relax, throw away schedules, and don’t push yourself.

You have a lot of ground to cover in a very short period of time. Between your starting point and your destination, with a stop at Jeff’s there are a number of places you can stop and enjoy without adding any (or at least many) more miles to the trip. You have a long time to do a search to pick a few places to enjoy, or things to do along the way. For example, in Jeff’s area you have the serentity of the Smokey Mountains, or the hustle and bustle of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, Dollywood, and all that area has to offer. Or along the way you can stop and see either the Atlanta or Chattanooga aquariums, both of which are outstanding.

There are a lot of neat things to do and see along a straight path you don’t need to zig and zag spending your time driving instead of enjoying. That time of year the roads are not fun to drive on.

Jon, point well taken…need to take the kids to couple landmarks before they “leave the nest”.., I am very much aware of the distances /effort on my side…but I hope it will create some good / bad memories….still RV life, good and bad together…travel plans are being adjusted to fit everyone’s wish…appreciate your input Sir…

Historical, then San Antonio and the Almao! And the mission trail and the RiverWalk. Luxury RV ?? not in San Antonio. Buckhorn Lake RV in Kerrville is about is as good as it gets in Texas…

Art/Museums in Houston are world class

Texas State Capital in Austin.

Texas is a big state, you will not be able to cover all that in your timeframe.
