Tully,
Just a couple of comments. When you have problems with a coach it gets frustrating and often seems far worse than it really is. That is especially true when the problem has origins that impact a number of things. Everything that goes wrong with a coach can be repaired. And the chances are with the huge number of PC members we now have it is likely others may have experienced the same issue you are having, so rather than generalize just to say you have problems, try to be very detailed in the description of the what is wrong, and avoid assuming what you think it might be. Often that misleads people The internet and forums make diagnosis more difficult so by being descriptive about what isn’t working helps a lot.
A second and important thing to understand is our coaches are not something the average mechanic or technician sees. We have had more horror stories than I can count over the years because a Prevost owner did not take his coach to an expert. You actually have two products. You have a Prevost chassis and issues relating to that require a Prevost expert. That expert might be found at a Prevost service center, or maybe at a local bus charter company that has a fleet of Prevost coaches. Detroit and Allison dealers are best for the engine and transmission, although Prevost can read codes and do some repairs in that area.
The other product you have is the “house” which was made by Country Coach. That part of your conversion is everything other than the chassis, and its generator and electrical system is separate and apart from the Prevost. There is no way I would recommend taking house issues to Prevost.
If George and Corey have someone who is capable of servicing your problems that is great. I suggest you discuss the problems with them so they are steering you in the right direction. I know you are reluctant to travel, but everyone on here will likely agree you might be far better off to enlist experts than risk your coach to someone who will be getting on the job training at your expense.
