They said sell your ranchet in GA, go full time, buy a winter spot down in Fl. No more yard work, it will be like living on easy street.

Been here for a week. I think I’ve spent more time outside working on our little rv place in that time then I would spend on the place in GA!

Between unpacking all the outdoor furniture, cleaning up the outdoor bar, grills, weeding the pavers, trimming the plants, line trimming growth along the forest line (don’t get me going on my expectations VS delivery of laan care), power washing the pad and pavers, and then spreading 160lbs of polymuric sand and setting it in on the pavers, I’m ready for a summer break!

I scrubbed the front of the coach when I got in (love bugs are out in force right now) but still need to wash, wax and polish the rest of the coach.

And then I get to start on cleaning up the common areas of the park (oh what I do as the association president to save us all in our quarterly dues).

Oh what I wouldn’t give for a hurricane right about now so I can get out of there and go help some people that really need it. Who knows, maybe california will have another late fire season and I can go to there for work.

Moral of the story, less isn’t always easier 😉

Jon, actually the grass is nice and green. But then I put down a couple hundred pounds of Bermuda grass seed this spring, so that helped out. Now i get to do some fall weed and feeding and then start looking at some winter rye to keep it green all winter 🙂

Tom, sure, I’ll take some good Wisconsin aged extra sharp cheddar if you have any.

Robert, thanks, i like to think so. Getting back mid September is always nice as I get half the park to myself, my dog and my music. Unfortunately seems some people from up north didn’t like how cold it’s getting early this year and are coming back early. But hey, what can you do when you live in a van down by the river.

If you like good Cheddar, you should be looking to get some of the U of O “canned” Cougar Gold Cheddar. This is some of the best cheese ever! You can only get it during the Winter and it can sell out before the Holiday’s so be sure to order early or be left in the dust.
